Greetings,
Welcome to ChipsNet.net . . . I have put together this site to allow a forum to let friends, family, and coleagues, know what I'm up to. I am currently a data conversion consultant living and working in St. Louis, MO; the project I am currently working on has evolved into one of the largest healthcare data conversions in the U.S. The healtcare organization that I am contracted to is centralizing its enterprise by combining 16 inpatient facilities and over 100 ambulatory clinics/facilities into a standardized system.
I have been working with this company since June 2005 and the project is supposed to go into 2011. In 2007, me and the family moved up here to Missouri from Texas due to the fact that I could gain two complete days a week back if I were to move here, instead of traveling on Mondays and Thursdays every week. I have really enjoyed the work on this project; click on BC Technology Solutions on the tab above to go to that website and learn more about our consulting abilities.
When we moved here, we found a house up on a hill, where we met wonderful neighbors, and don't have to travel far to get together with friends on the weekend. Our family cooks with our neighbors on a competition barbeque team called Porkin' Ain't Easy; we compete during the spring, summer, and fall at contests all over the place. Our biggest success was at the Ballwin BBQ Bash last season where we came in 2nd place overall out of over 80 barbeque teams. Click on the Porkin' Ain't Easy menu tab above to learn more about the team.
Most folks don't know, but I have been an inland tugboat captain since the late 1980's. I still maintain my tugboat license, as I could still hop on boats if the IT industry ever goes south like it did in the dot-com bust years. I have pictures of all of the boats that I have served on, so feel free to click on the Tugboats/License and browse thru the tugboat stuff.
Thanks for stoppin' by . . . Feel free to
