Database Administration Responsibilities
Maintained data dictionaries and maintenance
plans for all databases. Performed report writing tasks with raw SQL, Crystal
Reports, and application-specific report generation tools. Performed all OS and
database service pack deployment and database / data structure upgrade
procedures. Performed database restores and "roll-forwards" from
backups and transaction logs. Performed traces and performance tuning for
databases. Was member of all system upgrade teams where database had tasks
associated with the upgrade. Worked with on-site consultants when major system
upgrades occurred.
